First-Kelp 0-0-1 is a supplemental potassium fertilizer derived from Ascophyllum nodosum sea kelp and formulated for use on turf grasses and ornamental plants. It may be tank mixed with most fertilizers and pesticides after a compatibility test and should be applied with sufficient water for complete coverage. Recommended application rates range from 1.5–3.0 ounces per 1,000 square feet on greens and 0.75–1.5 ounces per 1,000 square feet on fairways and tees, with irrigation recommended within 18 hours after application.
